And some people wonder why.... Lets see another case of a job hopper getting bit in the butt by it. And then you brake company policy and take the truck home and get fired for it. While you might hire someone like you most people wont why you ask... Job hopper + brakes company policy = undependable. And in todays job market thats just not a good thing.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

thx/s for the email , but you can come up with all the reason's you want too, concerning my work history, but any employer's , can hire and fired , there workers whenever they please , not only that , i expect a descent paid check every week seeing how when i started to work in this job i was told that i would be getting a paid check , that i could live off of. and further more i have not left the company truck , any place , have not reck ed company truck, or lost any of their companies freight , that is what they paid insurance for , not how many job i have had. i am not a job hopper.
i am a safe and ontime driver , why would they not hire me ?

Dude, You just don't get it...Do you?
Maybe you should apply at Burger King! -
I think he would have to improve his grammar first.
One last time just for you, to many jobs in to short of a time frame means that the person is "unreliable, undependable". A company that is given the choice between hiring a guy who has had 2 jobs in 8 years and one who has had 6 jobs in 3 years. They will hire the first guy 9 times out of 10 why you ask because the first guy is more likely to stick around and be there that makes him "reliable and dependable". Unlike the other guy (you in this case) who has shown by past action that after the company has invested time and money into training him he-will-quit leaving them high and dry. Right now companies can be picky about who they hire, you need them more then what they need you and by changing jobs to many times in to short of a time frame you have placed yourself on the bottom of the hiring food chain. You don't have to like it, you don't have to listen, but that doesn't change that it's a simple fact of life.Last edited: Aug 12, 2009

yes i get it . that why they have truck driving school's all over the place , begging for drivers, i know that the job market is having it problems too, i came to this site looking for jobs lead's , not telling me that i should go into food service. and if i am such a bad person ? why would the food service industrial want me there ? , it take experience and skill's to drive a t/t ? please's do not write me if you do not have a t/t job lead , i have better thing to do with my time , than to spread hate.

my little boy and the little boy next door have been hauling some gravel and dirt with the little cat dump trucks and bobcat toys i bought him. you may want to check with them, i heard them say they wish they had someone to operate the loader. it would be steady work but only 5 hours a day cuz they have to take a nap from 2-5.

Heh, if he DID go to Burger King:
1.) he'd get regular hours
2.) he'd be paid for going to work (not sitting on a load unpaid for 3 days)
3.) Wouldn't have to slip-seat.
And judging by the last few BK's I've been to, english, communication skills and customer service aren't even job requirements!
