From my gas tanker days, I'd say they sit the least. They take about 10 minutes to load at around 30 minutes to unload. I was rarely sitting.
The APU that I have is a god send. Year round comfort and uses very little fuel.

I like Greyhound drivers because they for the most part act very professional. However I have no love whatsoever for those tourist bus drivers...
I work M-F, off weekends, log about 55 hours per week and average $80-85,000 per year but I paid my dues to get here.
Right now it's hard for well seasoned drivers to find a decent job. I'd wait until the economy turns around before jumping in.
