After your done (licensed) you have to turn the book in, if not they send you a bill for another $50.
CDL is $92, you pay for the book and the privilege of taking the test, then once you pass the final CDL exam you pay $42 for the license.
The DMV now charges $50 for the "handbook" study guide. This amount can be deducted from the cost of your CDL.
How hard is this test? Any particular area to concentrate on? The study guide was $50.
