I'm paid $40 per load and $00.25 per mile as a company driver with SNI. I'd imagine other carriers are similar. Swift is paid hourly last I heard.
Oh, I run the Los Angeles and San Bernardino BNSF yards daily. never seen or heard of them .

Only first hand I've had with WM dedicated is talking with a few of their drivers. They all seem happy. They say they have steady freight.
