Having a sleeper causes you to loose a skid spot. Many compsnies want to bump you down to a van rate instead of a sprinter rate.
As long as your loaded, vans are cheap to get into so there is a lot of them. They seem to set more waiting than the st8 trucks.
This is what I use with my QC, works great. It came with my unit.
It's a class 7 truck but has a Cat C9 @335 hp, which is really a small class 8 engine.
It's where I would start.
Double check the temp bypass.
I drive a st8 truck and do very well as an exediter. I run solo, have a nice size sleeper and am very comfortable. My target running time is out...
Well I tilt my hood and looks things over. But most time it out in the front lot of the ts. Try to avoid back lot when possible, rookie drivers...

Don't think you can do this with a Directv dvr, but you can with a stand alone dvr system. I have seen some with removable hard drives.
