Check you hoses going from the egr cooler to the delta p sensor also.
I have had great success in getting rid of the sputter or coughing at 1200-1400 RPM range by adding the Ugly Charlotte fix. Something to consider....
Sorry, it was on an 05. But Berzerker did state that he had just replaced the delta pressure sensor in his earlier comments. Perhaps he is wrong...
My 07 was doing the very exact same thing Berzerker. Ended up being a cracked hose between the egr and delta-P sensor.
