The prices the shops are charging for the mono-band 10 Meter radios is criminal. For $650ish you can purchase a Yaesu FT-891...
If you're in Narrow FM and another station is using Wide FM, the Wide station will have clipped audio in the Narrow FM receiver. Here's a better...
If an export radio is at 5KHz deviation, it may be possible to adjust it down to the 2.5KHz spec. It just depends on the design of the radio.

True... It's funny, Cobra was the originator of the proposal to allow FM on 11-meters in the U.S., but President was the first to roll out new FM...
The short answer is "NO", they have lots of other distractions in the Cab now...

Is it just me, or are the CB manufactures moving REALLY Slow on the FM rollout for 11-meter equipment...
Not to mention, they'll charge you more money to try and fix what THEY Broke :cool:
