I plan to keep on trucking for another 12 years at least and then retire. I definately plan to take a shorter easier run as soon as my seniority...
Didn’t think I’d make it this year but I’m well into the 90’s now.
That barn you guys are in now seems to be busy when I go by there around 12:30-1am.
They’re not paying you by the mile?
lol! Glad to hear your son is doing so well and that you’re happy in your current job.
Toledo has one thats pretty decent imo. The primary hotel was pretty sketchy when I ran a schedule there so I opted for the bunkhouse.
I chat with the guys I worked with there almost nightly and they’ve backed way off the Camera craziness at least in our area of the Northeast from...
The $27.45 is bottom rate a cdl driver with no hazmat endorsement would hire on at I’m guessing?

I’m going on 6 years so not that long for me.
Yea we don’t get much further west than 055
Syracuse

That’s a heck of a nice rig! Much nicer than the one parked outside my hotel room lol. Don’t get me wrong I’m thankful for my job at Estes.
That’s a shame it had to go down like that. At some point I plan to bid back onto that Toledo laydown as I enjoy that run but right now at this...
I chose to stay in the bunkhouse, That red roof inn out by the turnpike was the primary hotel and I wasn’t staying there.
Sorry but I don’t recall them, I came from the beverage world and I've only been in LTL as a linehaul driver for 5 years. Oh yea the winters can...
I had a lay down bid to that terminal but got sick of the bunk house and wanted more miles.
