i dont know what you mean by not using the splitter but if you are having trouble shifting with the clutch try "floating " the gears start out...

lets start with prime inc ,they told me that i needed 60,000 miles with a trainer to be on my own ,which ened up being a never end 60,000 miles...

i cant give any advice about either company but i wiil give advice about choosing jobs ,(( my experience)) i have had 3 different jobs in the past...
