Hi guys, I've got a 01 C-15 6NZ. Can anyone here refer me to a CAT guru who can tune my truck?
I can't seem to find Mr.Haney anymore on here.

The Bullydog tuner is pretty good and you can put the tunes in yourself and take em out whenever you want

How much HP do you want ? Pittsburgh power can do the job.
steve092 Thanks this. -
PP rebuilt my engine with all the bells and whistles in January of 2016: ceramic coated, titled manifold, larger turbo, ecm tune, balanced rods, etc. 600k miles later, it runs as good as day 1, and burns 1/2 gal oil every 14k miles. Get 8÷ mpg average, and I don't baby it always running 60 mph. I could get into more details why I would hesitate to go elsewhere, but that would take too long.

I just purchased this truck and has already been tuned for 650HP. I just don't like the idea of a random person tuning it and would like to have it reflashed.
I haul 160k gross as well so I would love to have my motor running 100% -
$20, 800 approximately. I have a S60 Detroit, though. That included a bull gear, oil pump, air compressor, water pump, manifold, and ecm tune (and fixed my opt-idle with the ecm work). I already had installed a relatively new crank dampener (along with their crank balancer), and larger turbo. So those were not included in that cost, but something I would lean towards always doing if you are considering a rebuild as well.

I forgot to list head and injectors in that rebuild.

Not to sound like a salesman for PP, but you might want to know, it used to be if you had the tuning done at their place, you got a free dyno. They have a patten on that dyno because a big plate hydraulically pressured holds the wheels down, unlike being chained. I can't say they still put your truck on the dyno while they reprogram, since they have remote tuners around the country. They might just only install a tune, instead of tweeking it while it is on the dyno. I've heard Bruce Mallinson ( the owner) on the radio talking about how much hp (700-800) they can get out of a 6NZ. But I suppose that's going to require a lot: manifold, larger turbo, fleet air filter, FASS or Air Dog, etc. Exhaust readings on the dyno can tell them a lot about how far they can go with a tune.
