03 Peterbilt 379 Front Bumper? I want a solid bumper.

    What is the best bumper to put on my 03 peterbilt 379 ex hood.
    One that wont vibrate like crazy in the sun and glitter.
    Best is better for me 18 inch square type just want a stiff bumper.

    The best bumper money can buy will vibrate if it is not mounted correctly.. the trick is you need to fabricate a brace from the bottom of the bumper to the out side of the front of the frame rails to stiffen it up some... there's alot of good bumpers on the market its a matter of what you like

    Get an old piece of frame rail, steel or aluminum at your choice. Drill the mounting holes, paint it or chrome it, bolt it on. You'll have a bumper that you can actually hit things with.

    I prefer the guard rail look myself.. plus you know it's DOT approved....

    When I bought my T680 new in 2019 I had a choice of the standard fiberglass bumper or upgrade to the chrome steele bumper. I got the steele and it was absolutely worth it.
