It's called cold mode. For protection its normal operation
Specially if u have fuel tell wire
Ecm reads 170f fuel temp, 100°f or current water temp, ambient temp if it's close to 35f obvious ecm will create.
If it persist check alternator if it's not dumping AC current on negative. Thanks.
