Ok so the ac in my rig (or lack of) is gonna kill me...I cant take it! I have what feels like it could be something close to cold blowing out vent if I stick my hand in vent and close to duct in dash...I have nothin coming out sleeper vents. I have put a gauge on the low side it bounces all over the place and the compressor kicks on and off randomly. Which causes the freon gauge to move. I then tried to hook up an ac manifold gauge and I'm not sure but I have a feeling the mechanic overfilled her. Because it was reading crazy #s so I bought a cheap harbor freight vac. Pump and attempted that and it basically blew it up... (I know leave it to the professionals right, I live in the middle of nowhere not really an option to get pro. Service). We also have our own ac service machine I hooked it up to that tried to evac. The system got the system at least back 2 a normal level then had to go on haul.. I took the dash apart and water is leaking out of the seams on what I think is the heat exchange or evap. Cooler. I took the hose lose and stuck a screw driver in the hole and out comes over a gallon of water and it's still pouring water out it. which seems strange considering I live in about the driest heat you can get.I tried tracing the ducts and seeing if i could find a plug or something and blower in dash seems to b working fine..I'm lost! dont know what to change or do next I think the heats officially fried my brain now so I'm really f***d now ‍♀️please help !!(sorry I have a potty mouth, I tell my mom that comes with being a trucker..not my fault)

Check the drain for the evaporator core in the dash. Sounds like its plugged up. The condensation needs to go somewhere and if it can't flow out the drain, it'll build up and freeze the core into a block of ice.

It’s the hose you took off. Goes through the floor. Sounds like you got it cleared. The water shows it’s working. Normal. Sounds like the Freon amount isn’t right. At an idle, If the compressors cycling on and off, within about 40 seconds to 1 minute, and staying off longer than on, and as long as the engine fan is kicking on automatically when the compressor cycles off, it’s probably overcharged. Assuming it’s not working at all, whether driving or parked. If compressors running constantly and still not cold, it probably low on Freon.

Might want to make sure the water valves for the heater hoses, are turned off under the hood. Should be 4 altogether. Just in case you have a bad temp control valve on Cab or sleeper, that’s not turning the heat off. If sleepers not blowing any air on any settings. The blower motors probably bad. If you hear it running, might have a plugged or physically blocked intake filter. The bunk box also has a drain hose. Near the lines outside on bottom of bunk, you’ll see it. Should be dripping water, lines also should be dripping condensation, if bunk systems working right.

One way to know for sure, is to evacuate the system and put the exact amount in it. I think it’s 55oz. 5 cans works for Me. Bleeding a bit off, to get air out of the hose on the can, right before hooking it up to the low line. Should have a tag on firewall near air drier. Should read 3 lbs. 7 oz. whatever it says, follow the tag.

If your gauges are bouncing all over when the clutch kicks in and out, you likely have problems.

You really can waste more money than a pro costs. I'd assume you have a contaminated system, plugged dryer, and/or failed expansion valve.

It's one of those things that someone experienced can diagnose in minutes, while others scratch their head and throw thousands of dollars in parts at it.
