What exactally does the fuel temp mod do that increases HP and doesanyone have any pictures of how to go about doing this mod? If it's as easy as people say I might have to give it a try.

dont need to buy any connectors. just go to radio shack or your local cb shop and ask for ohm150 half watt resistors just bend the wires on the end of the resistors to fit tightly in the fuel temp plug ends and tape it up real good. they cost about .50 cents a piece. dont waist money on the harnesses.

Put a little tape on it and do not plug it back in. It "lies" to the ECM about how warm the fuel is,the warmer the fuel actually is the less it works.

I tested the Fuel Temp / Fuel position today so I will do a Graph next week showing the relationship between the 2.
Quite interesting as it max's out @ 89c and cuts the rack back.
In the scheme of things its minimal under load with engine temp at operating temp. However down low and cold it will give a little fuel.. MAX variation in fuel at Full load is 2cc/60cc however u would never see this 2cc at operating temp

However, doesn't it matter what temp it is? For instance someone like yourself in aus to me at -30*C?

CAT fuel filters have the rubber seal built into them. You'll have to install the O-ring with other filter brands
