The gain will be directly proportional to the actual fuel temperature in normal running conditions at STD operating temperature. another words if you have a fuel Cooler and very low ambient reducing the fuel Temp at the filter head then the difference would be at its greatest. Then in OZ case the fuel Temp would be quite high to start with so minimal to no gain in most applications.

Just keep in mind if you do this MOD don't use a resistor that shows a reading over 89c or 192f. also the opposite applies, any lower and you reduce the max available gain for what its worth LOL

I got a 05- 379, with a MXS acert, I think I have a bad performance with this truck, I feel that the fuel consumption is too high and I have problems going down the hills, practically the engine brake can not sustain the load at all, when I bought the truck I could see where the combistible temperature sensor was broken and only put some tape on it to keep dirt out, some can give me recommendations to improve both the fuel consumption and the engine brake, the ecm is tuned to 550hp-1850torque, thanks!Oldironfan Thanks this. -
