07 vnl d12 started throwing code 128 sid 146 fmi 3 egr code

    My volvo started throwing this code 128 sid 146 fmi 3 this morning loss of power and massive fuel consumption. shut truck down and it goes inactive for 5 to 6 miles then goes active again. Is my #1 egr going out or can something else be causing this issue.

    I have this same thing and the pros are better fuel mileage and you aren't putting out $1600-2200 a year for replacement parts. The cons are that your dealer doesn't get $1600-2200 a year for replacement parts.

    Also, cleaner inside engine and oil stays clean looking longer
