07 VT830 No Data for Trans & frt/rear diff temp, NOW no reverse lights

Yesterday fixed a couple of broken wires in the wire harness at both diff and trans along with a short. Thought this would have fixed my issue, but no still have the same issues, but I have now created a open circuit within the reverse light. Didn't start until I pulled the harness at the trans, that connect the temp, reverse light and believe the speed sensor. Repulled the harness and it got complete continuity, but when I put it in reverse the rear brake lights go out no power to the light and when it not in reverse the light returns to working.
