Believe me, there have been a few owners that thought that message meant they needed a new abs ecu and spent the money for nothing! You have a very interesting problem there and I would love to hear what caused it and what the fix is! I have never come across that, so my curiosity is peaked.

Hi guys, I know this thread has be going for a while. I thought I'd throw in my problem as well and see if I can get any insight. I have a Navistar with MaxxForce 7 bucket truck. Single rear axle. I have the ABS, Brake pressure, red stop sign, and orange upside down triangle on. Also the LCD screen says ABS module. I did not find it on the passenger Kick panel. If I'm not mistaken mine has the newer system which is not pressured up by the power steering pump. I have traced all brake lines and nothing goes back towards the power steering. I have the Wabco system and not the Bendix. I can hear it come on when I turn the key over. I have brakes but they're really soft. From what I can find online seams there's 2 motors that control it. One for the rear and one for the back brakes. I don't hear the abs solenoids doing their startup checks like I used to hear. Let me know what your thoughts are as where to start diagnosing. Thank you.

Might just be a corroded fuse or holder. Those big pump motors are powered through 30 amp fuses for each on. Most trucks they are near the firewall on the left hand side. Check them for corrosion or being burnt. Sometimes they are in the battery box too.

Yes sir, I have checked those, as well as the wiring going all the way back to the pump. Also took off both plugins at the pump and inspected. I also checked everything in the fuse box. One thing I did want to correct though I'm not sure if it changes anything. It's a DuraStar not Navistar.

At your full power brake unit, you have two connectors. The one with just two large wires is power feed for pump 1. In the bigger connector, pin 16 is the power feed for pump 2. Disconnect both and check both for power. This is battery power so the key doesn't have to be on.

I have the same issue with my prostar. -
I have a 2010 prostar with cummins isx. My truck was running good. I washed it. Then driven 100 miles & turned off by self. After an hour i tried to turn on . It was starting up & shut off right away. Then i had called for service. Mobile machenic changed its lift fuel pump & shut off valve. Samething happened again. He put a direct wire from battery to ecm. But still problem is there. When it get cold. It runs for an hour or two. Then shut off with saying abs module & electrical fault. If i try to start right away, it starts & shut off with these pop up msgs. If i wait for 2 hours & then starts normal but later shut off with pop up these msgs. Plz help
