'08 Volvo 780 with D16

    I've been searching high and low for the air compressor on my '08 Volvo 780. I cannot for the life of me been able to locate the air compressor. The only thing that I can think of; is it an electric compressor that is located in the firewall? any help would be greatly appreciated

    IIRC, the dd15 tucks it in under the turbo&exhaust plumbing on the right rear of the engine. Nice of the engineers to hide it in amongst all the emissions .bs on these things. Let us know if you find it.

    DD15 and D16 are two different motors, one is by Detroit Diesel and the other a Volvo engine.

    That is right, the truck I have has a Volvo D16 engine not a Detroit Diesel. I tried to upload a picture with the post, but it failed several times
