I hear that, it’s a pretty big shop in Crest Hill, IL they have Premium Tech Tool with ecm programming capabilities, i will pull my heavy load to detroit tonight, will see how it does
After a few days of testing the truck ran great but on the way to the west coast suddenly same loss of power while pulling uphill. I pull over on next exit ramp, pop the hood and notice the fuel filter turned black again with fuel level about 3/4 way up. I changed the filter real quick and kept going. Truck runs good again but what could be turning that filter dark within 2000 miles? Any ideas? It almost seems like it might might be oil or soot going through the filter. Some people have mentioned rubber fuel hoses degrading and turning filter black, could it be? tanks are shiny clean inside and no air bubbles while running. I will update if i figure it out.
