I have a 2012 international prostar that won't #### into low range how hard is it to change solenoid or is there some wiring to look at

09 international prostar with cummins ISX 450... truck now has electrical fault/ abs module...
Truck had a bad starter that shorted... wouldn't crank... replaced the starter now it cranks bu wont turn over... left side of cluster won't sweep, oil pressure and water temperature... can't connect to a computer... it says that ecm not found...please help...
Replaced the BCM and still the same problem... -
When you turn the key on, does the electric priming pump for the engine come on? If not, your engine isn't getting either battery or key power or even both. Go over all your basic electrical connections at the starter and battery. ECM is fed from the mega fuses near the air filter at the firewall. Make sure your connections are ok there too.

Key on right side of gauge sweeps left side don't... ( water temp and oil pressure) main fuse at firewall both are good... eletrical pump does come on... we just replaced the BCM and still the same... trying to connect laptop to it and message says no ECM found... power and ground to ecm at 4 pin connector... replaced new starter, replaced 4 new batteries... strong crank but no start... also replaced oil pressure sensor... what else should I look for...all oil and filters replaced... please help... -
The gauges not sweeping is a cluster problem. If the priming pump comes on, that means the engine ecm is booting up. What are you using to communicate with the engine?

No eletrical pump... we are using a snap on pro link IQ -
I would say your engine isn't getting power and that where you need to focus. Main ecm fuse are near the air cleaner, ignition fuse is located in the panel in front of the passenger seat.
