'09 Prostar Bendix "in cab" ABS Module?

    Yes, the anti roll-over or YAW sensor is behind the cab. The actual abs controller is in the cab on the passenger side under the breaker panel. That can only be programmed out with Bendix Acom software.

    So then it can be reprogrammed? Now how would i find someone that has that software and any guess on whether it is cheaper to reprogram the system or just replace the part with a used one?

    Here's the problem. Any dealer will have the program, but I would think they won't remove it because they are down grading a safety feature and should you be involved in an accident, they could be held partially or fully liable. You know how people are today with suing everyone. So even if they have it, they may refuse to program it out. Are you sure the part is bad? 99% of the time it is wiring.

    Well - HL Gage in Albany NY told me it was the unit, but then again this is the same place that told me engine was shot to hell and i needed i new one only to find out i had a bad thermostat and bad coolant tank cap, so honestly, no not positive. guess i will have to check with a real dealership to find out
