I log it just as I do it. Falsifying logs is much more serious than not doing them.

They can make all the regulations they wish. Some will still break the law regardless, whether it be in trucking or any other industry. Many feel secure bending rules in trucking because no one is looking over their shoulder. But believe me, when they are are in and accident the cellphone data will scream "lawbreaker."

BS, tomorrow I will be running a trip I have ran many times. It consist of a total of 669 miles, around 400 miles is I-75 (speed limit 70)which I will run at 75mph on cruise control and the rest is all 4 lane highway(speed limit 65) and I will run 68-69.It will take every bit of my 11 hours to make this run, usually slightly over.I run 2 GPS in my truck all the time. One is just a Nuvi 1300 I use to keep up with how many miles I run all year.I reset it every year on my birthday to keep up with my miles driven. It also shows your moving average which for the last 10 months my moving average is 58 for 119,000. I'm sure yours has one let me know what your moving average is. Any moving average of 58 mph is very strong.

some dont like others looking over their shoulder, they are confident they can captain their own ship

others like people looking over their shoulder and they have computers there to remind them

Not saying that's not true but am saying I would pay to see 7.8 mpg out of a B model especially in a Pete.

You might be surprised. I am not saying it's as simple as driving a little different. I drive allot different, all of the time not part of the time. I do it to keep me paying attention to my driving all the time, I also like the challenge of getting better mileage every trip.

But truth be told my loads are generally light under 25k, the trailer is a 48' spread that is light and it is tucked up to the cab as close as I can get it without fairing interference. And of course the CA compliant skirts on the trailer.

I do the same tricks in my 4cyl Colorado and get mid to high 30's with that. Just wish I could break the 20mpg mark in the Superduty.

Ill guess you'll have to pardon those of us who still have the ability to think and make decisions on our own. Wonder if Sully did exactly as they told him when he landed in the Hudson with no fatalities?

Ahh yes, Sully, my hero! For I am a mere private...... took skill and courage to splash that gal although I doubt he would want to try again......

Now, where is that MH 370 flight?
