Now we all know you are making money hand over fist, but could understand. Have 2700 mile trip coming out of the chute to the left coast, if my guy long time friend pulls a load I am look at we can slingshot back to Florida on the same permits. That is money in the bank.

I may set sometimes in forsaken places that is not on Rand McNally but I will laugh every week when my pay hits.

    SHC Thanks this.

I wonder what Diamond HH drivers get paid? I'll bet it isn't by the mile!

I would say either percentage or hourly.

I'm thinking hourly, as they can literally spend days just loading or unloading.

Believe it or not some super haulers are paid salary with different perks, I have no clue how Diamond is paid but the pay is different as the company itself.

Being contracted as a O/O with a large steel and crane company my compensation was a three tier compensation contract, they had company trucks as well but needed me to do out of town trips and work the drivers did not want.

The drivers were on a three tier pay scale as well, some hourly or mileage. Either way those drivers made out well and the company looked out for them.

Shorten this up, I imagine if Diamond has found drivers that work out they will do what they need to take care of them and imagine the turnover is very low.

That is the program I have now. Based upon the size equipment, weight, length of haul, and load time, etc... dictates the compensation, all based on what my 8 axles can haul. :biggrin_255:

That's what I'm thinking. For the caliber of driver that Diamond has to have, the compensation package has got to be very good.
