200 truck fleet, all owner operators. Management cut a deal with all of the majors, but TA/Petro gives us the best price. Contact fleet sales at TA in Westlake OH and see what they will do for you. All transactions are handled through Comdata, that is part of the equation.
$1.96 fuel

Thank you. We use Comdata but the discount is normally only 20 or 25 cents. I’m only a 10 truck fleet but I’ll still call and see what TA/Petro will do. I appreciate the advice.

They are practically giving the stuff away....

Well, given how freight rates are currently (soon we will seemingly have to pay shippers to move their sh...), it seems only fair we wait for truck stops to pay us for using their fuel!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s a Mad, mad, crazy world we live in!!!!!!!!Studebaker Hawk Thanks this. -
I’m jealous, NASTC is 1.45 there today. Here in Utah, 2.71 cash price on the sign, 1.61 on the card. Amazing how much they gouge the retail consumer.PE_T Thanks this.

It's all a push to get drivers to use fuel cards instead of cash/credit. -
I thought the same way you did until last year. Signed up with NASTC and have almost no problems at all. Deducted out of my account same day every week. Pay 300 yearly fee but my discount yesterday on 220 gallons was 240 dollars in Michigan at TA. I’m just a one truck operation so no big fleet discounts for me.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Wow! Can’t beat that! I definitely need to get one. Thanks.

The discounts have been pretty good lately. I would say the average was around 30-40 cents. The only draw back is no J’s or pilot’s, which is fine with me but going west you need to plan a little more for TA’s and Petros. Good luck.Rideandrepair Thanks this.
