    Space is time. You can't react to what you can't see.

    I don't count the seconds I have between me and the one in front of me, I just try to make sure I can stop within the distance that I can see. When you have a big truck right in front of you you're driving blind and you best be easing off. If you can't see 20 or more seconds up the road due to large vehicle in front of you or because visibility doesn't allow it you best be easing off.

    Dash cams are great but they don't show what the eye can see, unless there's something blocking your view that is.
