Why did you pay $4.64/gal for diesel, when the avg price in SC is $3.80???

Amazing question about fueling at the average price, when all your loads are elite runs with appointments and the broker (Coyote) told me the weight is 43k and you are running into the limits (80k lbs). So you think we stop in a rest area and order the average price fuel. Nice thanks
I am sure you are not a hard working trucker ???? If you were you wouldn't ask that question. It took 3 1/2 hours to load the truck with standard rolls of paper from Case Paper on Tioga St. in Phily PA. They loaded one corner of the trailer in the front and then the opposite corner of the trailer in the back and ramped the fork lift with two rolls of paper(2400 lb) at highest speed and kept on doing that and the removed it again and then loaded the other side of the trailer and did the same thing till the trailer got twisted and cracked the bumper and the doors could not close. Cost me $1000 and aggravation and few days of time to check if it was repaired yet at the shop. I know I have hauled 43k many times but look at the scale it shows way more than 5000 more. If it is 43k and 1/2 tank of fuel I do not have to adjust the tandems 10 times either.

Talked to a friend of mine yesterday. He is hauling a load from AL to WI for $4.26/mile. And he had his next load booked 2 days in advance. Not sitting waiting.

I use to complain about rates also.........but I fixed it don't go!! I get calls everyweek for ND from $2.50-$3/mile but I turn them down because that's not a lane I have contacts to get me out so I pass. I would rather run $2.40/mi somewhere I can get a return load that pays the same and a better market!!

Also it never takes me days to find a load I may layover until the next day but any longer im bouncing out of there!!

Sat for a week looking for a direct load to NE... Could've moved more than once on a load to texas... Reloaded out of texas n Be sittin on the porch right now... I know this type of driver sittin in the truck stop whining about rates watchin everybody else coming n going... Lookin for the next disgruntled driver to explain how these brokers are the devil...They do nothin but lie to us poor truckers.... Admit it... You have no idea what your doing.... Nobody takes vacations at a truck stop!!!!!!!! Spent all your fuel money at the restaurant... Can't afford to deadhead anywhere.... Blah Blah Blah
