Good read. It's nice to see a mostly positive experience with Swift. I've read that this industry is what you make of it. Lots of research and realistic expectations go a long way in determining if this is the career for you.
With over 16,000 drivers, if even half of those are reasonably happy/satisfied then it can't be that bad. -

I have some questions:
1. Have you learned during your first year to manage your living costs?
2. How much do you spend on the road on living costs?
3. Are you able to reduce your expenses as much a possible in order to profit from your great wages?
I think that we should not just look at the amount of income, but also try to focus on reducing costs and expenses. -
