HAHA I really LOL'd when I read that. I have been very fortunate to not have any situations. But I will say it is always in the back of my mind. That is why I try to be laid back and overly nice. I have a friend that got his Class A through Swift. He recommended them as well.

Not that old at all. I completed a year in late October. What can I try and answer for you?

I'm curious as to what their mentors and initial road tests are like. After a year or so of driving LTL, I may be forced to go back OTR. Swift is the one company that'll allow me to road test without a refresher. It's been two years since I drove OTR. I do own my own trailer so backing wouldn't be an issue, and I do drive straight trucks so I'm familiar with the industry. My weakness is the shifting.

Shouldn't be an issue. Don't coast out of gear, don't shift in a turn or over RR tracks. Most of the company trucks are 9 speeds (or 8 with a granny) so you have the standard H-pattern shifting, plus those transmissions are the most forgiving. Based off of what you have written if you fail the road test you will still probably only have to be with a mentor for 50 hours. Worst case - you're with a mentor for a week and then assigned your own truck (would be my guess). Easy questions so far.

Just curious, are you unhappy w/greyhound? Im driving class A tanker but have a pax bus endorsement.. Figured greyhound would be a nice gig and change of pace someday, but never looked into it and know zero about it.
