Just a note of potential interest:
If you haven’t already submitted an application to apply for the PPP (Payroll Protection Plan) you need to do it NOW.

First round of funding ($349 Billion) only lasted 12 days. Just funded another $300 billion for the program and most banks have reopened the application process.

You CAN get the grant either as a S Corp with formal payroll or as a sole proprietor using your Schedule C bottom line number.

This is basically a grant not a loan, so no paying it back, as long as you follow 2 or 3 very simple procedures.

Seems to be running between $8K and $15K for most operations like ours.

Absolutely no reason not to apply and basically just get some of your tax dollars given back to you!

Contact your bank where you have your business account at. Most banks are participating but not all. Can use any approved lending source, does not have to be your own bank but that seems to be the best and easiest in most cases.

Took exactly two weeks for me, from filing out the application to funds in my account. Don’t lose out because you didn’t think it applied to you!

 

How much did you receive out of that $15k?

 

Now youre really Learning the Trucking Bussiness. Lol. Nothing surprises Me, I’ve seen Big Companies do so many wrong things over the years. You do what’s needed to survive. I went through it 11 yrs. ago. It was a 6 yr. slow run up on disaster, and didn’t get better, actually got worse, for a few more yrs.I took chances, because I had no other choice. I agree, it should be across the board, either way.

 

Ok, at the risk of making everyone angry. In a nutshell, can I expect $1000 from the original simple loan app that everyone and their brother initially filled out? Or do I need to contact my Banker? Just to clarify, tired of calling the Bank every 15 minutes, Lol.

 

I’ve only gotten $1k..... but this thing is a different program. I just heard about it today .
I’m calling my bank tomorrow apparently you only need last years schedule c to apply.....

 

I got my 1K for 1 employee (me) 3 days ago......from that on line form . This thing I just posted is different.....

 

Is that the online form you filled out on the SBA website? When you got done you got a application number that was about 10-12 digits long?
