I finally got the grant money from the EIDL. Was only $1,000 but I'll take what I can get. I missed the first round of PPP but hopefully I'll get in on this second wave.

10% standing? I highly doubt that. If that’s the case rates will be through the roof, I can’t wait. Trucking adapts quicker than most Industries. Still plenty of Drivers, they’ll be working somewhere. Anyway, just wanted to say, I got the $1000 today!!! Again, Thanks Scooter. You have more information on this than anyone on TV, or anywhere else. My Bank sure isn’t any help. Now if I can get one of those big discount fuel cards, might have a chance at being in the 10%. Lol. I don’t think anyone knows what’s going to happen. Yeah it’s pretty bad right now, unprecedented. But the economy always bounces back. It will this time too.

Let me ask...once approved for $10 000 - 15 000 PPP loan and having already cashed advance on EIDL, how much are you expecting to receive on the EIDL side? For one truck o/o, how much the total sum of the two loans could be and what part of it would be eligible for forgiveness?

It’s all in the previous pages, laid out much better than I can explain.

PPP is totally forgivable as long as 75% is used for payroll related costs within 8 weeks of financial receipt.

On the EIDL loan side side, my hunch is that the average loan offer with be $25,000 or under for a 1 man operation.

Only the advance is forgivable on the EIDL.

Just to clarify, the EIDL is currently a 3.75%, up from the original 1%? PPP still at 1%? Or ? When, if repaid.

The PPP is still 1% if they don’t forgive it. Maturity in 2years from date of money acquisition. In full, I repeat the full amount they give you is due in full. with interest only payments beginning 6 months from acquisition. That’s how my bank set it up anyway

Message from Jennifer Roberts, CEO of Chase Business Banking

We’ve started submitting applications to the SBA for the additional Paycheck Protection Program funding that Congress has approved. While we cannot guarantee how many new loans will be funded under the program, we will work diligently with the SBA and Treasury to serve as many small businesses as possible.

I wish we could help every business through this program, but funds could run out again quickly and we have preexisting applications in our queue. We know how important this funding is to your business, and will continue to process and submit applications until funds are exhausted.

At this time, we are not taking new applications, but will keep monitoring the funding availability and may consider taking new applications in the future.

    Sincerely,

    CARES Act
