Hey... what type of CD is this? Most CD’s I know are like 2-4% ... 2% of $15,000 is $300. Or am I not doing my math right? I’ve never done a CD before.

 

Yes me too!!!! I read this and instantly starting putting an early retirement plan in place!!!!

Because even good ETF strategies will be at maybe 5-10% annual growth... maybe there’s some crazy compounding interest thing I don’t know about

I think you need to retake a math class. I didn’t see anything in that link you provided that would come close to even a 1/4 of what you said you could make on $15,000 in a cd. If that was possible everyone would invest their money in cd’s and not waste time with the volatility of the stock market.
