Im actually really sorry to hear that. I’ve actually felt the complete opposite. We are legit from A to Z through and through on our taxes. Normally we get screwed.

This go around the people who fluff their expenses, or don’t pay payroll taxes, screwed themselves. They can’t legitimately show what the real numbers are. So, they can’t apply for the loan forgiveness on the level they should be able to.

I hated to take PPP but I’ve also paid into the treasury far far far more then I’ve now received. So still doing my part I guess. Like Joe said, your basically putting yourself at a massive disadvantage by not. I hate it.

The terms of the PPP were readily available shortly after the program launched.

I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised and subsequently angered by not qualifying for and receiving what they think they deserve through the program.

I understand the debacle created by them giving money to companies and institutions who really didn't need it in the first go around. However, they seem to have mitigated those issues in the 2nd go around.

Well unfortunately I'm in a different situation than you. I spent a #### load of money this year to get my MC up and running so naturally I would not show a large profit for the year. In fact I had to try hard to show a profit at all. Most people would have cooked the books to show a loss..

Had I been able to use my 2018 fillings I would have gotten a hell of a lot more. However 2019 was a complete restructure of my business to go from a lease guy to my own numbers and that's not cheap to do as anyone should know.

Even this year I've made more profit than I did last year which is what pissed me off is there was no flexibility for me to be able to say look I was partially shut down in 2019, lets look at the last 6 months income vs simply 2019.

Added to this like I've said I still haven't even gotten my $1,2k stimulus check I'm absolutely fed up with this govt I will never pay it a dime I don't have to the rest of my life. as far as they are concerned I might as well go bankrupt..

But hey lets bail out the cruise lines who set up in off shore tax havens and the oil industry so they can pay out billions to their stock holders..

I will make it through this but this was the last straw for me with this govt... I'm already pissed off about the fact I can't get affordable healthcare, because half our govt thinks "bootstraps, thoughts & prayers" pays $35k for 3 days in a hospital.. or the fact I can't get medication I need because it cost over $8k a month due to no regulation on how much they can charge... in this country, but it's a few hundred in Canada or any other country that gives a #### about it's citizens..

I will never give this govt a dime I don't have to after this.. They don't give a #### about me so I will not give a #### about them.

I will make it through this but i'm gonna have a whole new attitude when it comes to dealing with out govt..

I don’t think the ppp would benefit me much. I signed up for Unemployment, hoping to get a decent round in at least 1 or 2 weeks per mo. Stretching out my availabile benefits in case their needed. Keeping my Truck insurance, and health insurance and Mortgage current. Loads will pick up soon, I believe. Enough to keep from going further into debt than I already am, last year, life happened. Hospitalizations for my wife and I. Ending with a blown engine. That’s how it goes sometimes, can’t complain, we’re healthy. I understand the risks I take, and deal with the outcomes. That’s life. So be it.

I again hate to hear that man. I used my 2018 tax report but also included monthly reports from Jan 2019 to current. It was the last year that based the amount on.

What sucks about free handouts from the government is it causes resentment. You wouldn’t be hateful of the government at all right now if it wasn’t for others being picked a winner and you being picked a loser. However, you would have gotten even less help that way.

Try hearing constantly many times per day about every bodies stimulus check when I don’t have one coming period. It’s not really that I’m any richer, I just got more bills. lol

No what I'm pissed about is that all they would give me is $832 as a business owner and BoA wouldn't let me use my 2018 filling or show them my last 6 months incomes/pay. they made me use 2019. However a worker for any minimum wage business out there can file unemployment get a check from their state for whatever weekly unemployment is AND get $600/week on top of that from the federal govt.. At the very least I should have been given that $600/week..

The govt absolutely dropped the ball for small business owners, specially single employee companies like mine that are set up as single member LLC's who don't do normal payrolls..

Still no stimuli here. I’m so under stimulated, by the time I get the stimulus, it’s not going to be very stimulating. In Mi. they expanded Unemployment to the self employed. Even the Uber Drivers are collecting. Benefits were extended to 39 weeks. $160 minimum without income verification,up to $362 wk. max. W/ verification, plus $600 a week for 19 weeks. That’s available for a 52 week window, as needed.

Wow man that stinks. Talk about when it rains it pores. You certainly seem to keep a positive outlook on things from reading your posts.

I wish you and your wife good health dude!!!

Maybe Bank of America dropped the ball? I’m not trying to pick a fight with you either btw. They really should have gone off your Jan and Feb payroll and the gov would have accepted it just fine.

You know what my brother and law did? He has two guys and it’s an electrical business. He literally took a piece of paper, wrote the weekly payroll for the 3 of them on it, times 8, then times 2.5 and wrote the total. This was the first PPP go around. He got approved. No proof of Jack ####. I think certain banks did a great job and some did a horrible job taking care of their clients.
