Did a pre trip to work on that then did it again with an instructor and his flock. Checked in with the boss man who let me know we didn't have a load. He told me to enjoy the day. That is exactly what I am going to do. Going to head over to millennium and chill out.

LOL, Took that long?? LOL Totally different in a truck than on that simulator, your just going through what every student does. I had one guy who actually was going to quit after the 1st 5 minutes, he kept dropping the clutch. So hang in there, it only gets better.

Here at the millennium having a last meal with my student before we head out. I have to admit when I am wrong about something and I may have been wrong about the sims. My student has the shift pattern down. He will still miss gears and struggle a little with the double clutch now and then, but overall has taken to the truck very well. Much better than I did initially. The new sim curriculum seems to be doing what they want it to. Because the less time I spend teaching him how to shift, the sooner I can teach him how to drive.

I have seen a pronounced difference in the PSD's coming out since they have changed up & made the sim lab much more detailed & involved.

So I drove some yesterday. Was a pretty great feeling being fat at 77k. Struggled with my skip and using the clutch early when I am coming to a stop lol. And I did a knowing smile when I was passed doing my 60 mph. Thought of this forum each time.

New day lets see what it brings!

I have one issue I can't seem to wrap my brain around Ned I feel like n idiot with it. That would be my off ramps. I just don't feel I have the time or room to stop.

I drove 90 percent of yesterday be that continues to be my struggle. My trainer told me to ignore the simulator speeds to determine shifting and go off rom. That was a huge help but still in the back of my mind I m stressing bout making sure I stop his fat lady.

How he hell does one forget the shift pattern? I don't know but I did. Downshifting again. It is maddening
