    Hehe thanks highway. It will be fun it will be crappy and I am sure we will have more than enough of each other when it is over. Having both thanksgiving and Christmas right smack in the middle of things I don't expect to be done until week 2 of january

    Yeah, thats about how I did it also, but was living in OH at the time so was able to go home for both holidays as my trainer wanted the time off also. Stretched out my training some but was worth it. Good luck dude and keep the shinny side up

    2k into it adjusting my sleep now. Trainer is having me work with the receiver. Driving was so smooth he never woke up. I have asked myself a few times why I didn't do this sooner. But the. My kids were still kids.

    Wife has started studying the cdl manual for Nevada and we are figuring her joining the program in March. She asked if I would psd her. My response.....there is no way lol

    Last couple of days were great. I had to laugh at myself trying to shift down properly with the name break on. Took me a second but then I felt very foolish and fixed it. My trainer is loves that he an now sleep without issue when I drive regardless of where. Makes me feel good. I am watching my backing improve Whig makes me feel good and I am taking on more responsibility for the truck and the load (paperwork etc). We are about 5k in

    Downshifting w/the Jake shouldn't be a problem for you for long. It's actually really easy.

    Forgetting to turn Jake off when you stop & then trying to upshift, on the otherhand.........:banghead: Oh, yeahhh! LOL

    So here I am at the halfway mark of my 30k. We were getting some food when this guy walks up and says "Prime huh? Please remember I mortgaged everything I need cash". I looked at him and said.... I am a trainee and I am averaging 800 a week net.

    He decided he didn't want food nor to talk.
