Just a thought. If you really don't want the channels, beeps, echo and gizmos. You could take one of your 29's and add a stinger or RFX 150. You would have a high powered radio with a lot less cost. Plenty of juice to push a high drive amp and you could save a bunch of money.
Of course if you wanna collect. you gotta do what you gotta do!
