They are a good radio but I don't think they are worth more than $800 unless they've never been used.
Just get your license and learn as you go like everyone else. The guides are in free pdfs and practice tests are apps you can install on your phone. Next time I'm back at the terminal, I'll post the $15 and get my ticket. Get the Stryker while I'm at it. There was a lot of skip down here in Jacksonville Florida today.
