715 Thanks this. -
You're welcome. You'll be happy with the radio. Also, For additional $19 he'll do a YouTube of you're radio so you can see what's been done with the radio.Roughneck08 Thanks this.

Why do you think a "10 meter" radio is better than a cb?
roshea, rabbiporkchop and delta5 Thank this. -
You can go to screwdrivers website for info. The only thing I don’t like is that he sets the modulation around 123% or something like that. He gives the reason on his website. I would tell him to set it at 100% and no more

Dual finals. Also everything seems to be a bit more heavy duty. I wish they would get the cold solder joint problems fixed. I have had my new dx 959b in the shop twice now...
-
Big deal, dual finals don't make it a good radio.
The front end is setup for a super broad spectrum, there is no roofing filter, the if strip is cb design and the detector system is marginal at best.roshea and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -
Dubs cb shop in IL will do the conversion. If you buy the radio from him he'll convert it and ship it to you.

I say 50 to 100% nothing more as well. To me 125% modulation sounds awful but that is just me and my two cents. There is a local claiming he has his set at 115% modulation and it sounds sick and over modulating.
