10 meter ???????????????

    If the radio you bought only does AM/FM, then WA4GCH is right. Most amateur communications on 10 meters is done on Single Sideband. You can listen to anything you want, but do NOT attempt to talk to the stations that are actually ON 28 MHZ and above. They will report the fact and turn you in to the Feds. You are welcome to listen, but I am sure you already know not to transmit outside the CB band. Just sayin'.
