10 Roads Express Shutting Down

Hiring someone to undo the damages caused by DeJoy or whatever his name was by doing things like replacing the equipment designed to improve service while reducing costs would be a good start.

 

The company needs to reorganize and rename themselves Nine Roads.

 

It is unfortunate they are closing and so many will lose their jobs. Kudos to 10 Roads though for letting their people know and not just closing up with a text, email or omnitrac notification threatening legal action if the driver doesn't take the truck where they say to take it. At least those folks know they have their job through Christmas, to the end of January. If they stay anyway.

 

Whenever I worked there I always called it 10 LOADS Express...because all I got was 10 loads before my route was rescinded by USPS.

 

Seems to be the happening trend as of late where some organizations that used to subcontract work out are bringing it back in house,mostly to address quality control issues.
Years ago their trucks were everywhere but a lot of them that I saw were usually running along I-80, mostly in Ohio and Indiana. However at the same time they were notorious for getting pulled over for playing speed demon.

 

The can partner with Stereo Trucking or whatever the full name is.

to bad to see a company that treated there drivers like crap, junk equipment, bad hotels, etc.. go away.
