See if some of these drivers can hire on with USPS.
They may have to drive an International HV day cab but still… Considering the alternatives…

USPS will just contract there loads out to someone else
-
One thing I was surprised about was that they did provide decent motels the few times I needed one, nothing like the Red Roof Inn I stayed in without breakdown pay while their truck was in the shop when I worked for another company. But everything else you mentioned is absolutely true.

IDK, it was the best driving job I had. I never had any significant problems when I was there...just the usually mechanics not wanting to fix stuff...but that's found in all the companies I've been with.

Perhaps not...looks like USPS is doing away with its sub-contracting:

The big question is where does USPS plan to get a whole bunch of tractors and trailers if they are planning on insourcing all these linehaul routes? Shoot, anyone think USPS is just gonna buy up all the trucks/trailers of all their soon to be former sub-contractors who they are putting out of work?

You must not have worked in the Midwest region.

Nope, just Denver home-daily

The 10 Roads drivers that were outside of the midwest had good things to say about the company but things were very different in the midwest.Last edited: Dec 8, 2025
