I worked with a guy who came from 10 Roads. Some of the horror stories he talked about convinced me there wasn't enough money to put up with the BS.

Well I talked to the owner of a 50 truck co today not the S&S out west but this one's in VA. There real bad comments about S&S in forum but not the small co I am getting ready to apply to.
I can't find anything on it here at ttr site

I remember when Mail Haul Inc. (Guy named Philip Rose IIRC) had that - he ran really nice trucks, and paid his drivers well - those guys were members of the 101 royalty back in the day. Now I see a constant turnover of drivers in the 10 Roads trucks. For a while they were doing some sort of meet and turn at French's, I couldn't figure out how that would work and I don't think they are doing it anymore.

You're correct. That was 117GE contract that relayed there. East coast mail going to Indy, St Louis, and such. They no longer have that contract.

Which is why their turnover has almost tripled in recent years.

Just finished 2nd year at 10 roads express. Averaged 80k both years. Paid for every holiday. I run teams . Work 3 days on.. Then 4 days off. One of the best trucking jobs i ever had. Just wear your seat belt and keep hands off your phone

I've been asked about my experience at 10 Roads by people using the Driver Pulse ap, and I keep giving them my honest opinion. I hope this keeps them from making the same mistake I did

I've been there for 8 years. Our terminal went union a year ago. Aside from the 6 day work weeks (if you have more than a couple years seniority, you don't have to do those, I have a 4 day 42 hour a week run.) Our yard has decent trucks, most of them are under 3 years old. I'm actually pretty happy here. The work is NOT tough by any means. Is it a perfect job? No, but you will find complaints about any company. Lately, it does seem to be getting a little better.
