When I was running team with a training company we would do about 5k to 6k miles per week.

But yep 70 hrs @ 60 MPH average is still just 4200 miles per week. And I refuse to work that hard unless there's a second envelope of cash involved.

I keep hearing 30 40 50 now 75 k on oil.The fact that oil analysis is mandatory with all these extended intervals raises a red flag for me. Grease important for u joints more so. Rest of stuff doesn’t get much use in OTR. I don’t like to crawl around on ground. I Change oil since it went over $200 at TS but I pay $44 and oversee grease on Truck and Trailer. Well worth it to me.Basically half hour labor extra cost. Beats getting all greasy and feeling sore for 2 days Lol

Where do you live, I'll grease your truck for $44. That's probably like $60 bucks here, OR $240 an hour. :D

I get it though. I have the local quickie-lube do it every oil change and man does it feel great to take a break and watch somebody else do your dirty work hahah. I get itchy if my truck hasn't been greased in the past week, let alone 3 or 5 (I only do 2k miles a week.... I'm just anal) so it's a noteworthy savings to me. And only the outside of the frame is rusting, so its also great corrosion protection!

My dad used to run with a guy going from Sioux Falls to LA, he'd grease the truck at each end, about every 16 or 1700 miles, maybe a little bit overkill.
