    You guys will finally join the 21st century. We've been doing that for a long time up here.

    I'm not overly versed in US weight laws but on this side of the border, weight per axle typically drops as you add axles to the group. That would effectively increase the braking power/traction to weight ratio.

    Happens to be the only way they're going to convince anybody to buy their electric trucks that are going to be 3 to 6k pounds heavier than a regular truck, coincidence, I think not.

    1985,or 86 dad did 3 days in Romulus MI. Jail with 150k on the deck on 6axles and Ohio plates. 5 grand back then.

    Nothing new here.

    They are try to say more weight on 6 axles is safer??? Well maybe when you are talking about wind, but not when talking about stopping power.

    IMO the reason that it appears to be safer is because carriers are more particular about who the put in the seat of those trucks. I mean who is going to put a shave tail rookie behind the wheel of 100k???

    I know several, of course they own the truck so they're pretty seriously invested in not wrecking the thing.
