Mid 80s is the best I can hope for as a chemical hauler with staying out long length of time

I’m out of Portland, Oregon. We also have a yard in Tacoma, Modesto, and Sante Fe Springs. Fuel haulers up here are making close to the same as us. Most linehaul guys are around the same if not more.

Honestly it’s not that bad. It just takes patience. Pay attention to what you’re doing, and don’t let your guard down

It wasn’t bad honestly. Somehow we avoided it luckily.

Thanks man. Appreciate it. In all honesty if someone messed with you, you have a few thousand gallons of product on board that they wouldn’t like to get on them. We are a red flag for people like that

As drivers we washout, load, unload, and make specialty blends for our customers. I pull a 3 compartment trailer 99% of the time. It has a 93% sulfuric acid compartment in the middle. Front two compartments are stainless, and rear compartment is fiberglass lined.

We do both. This trailer is all pump off. 1 1/4” hoses only. Certain acids like nitric and hydrochloric that have a fume are pump off only. We also use 2” air off and pump off and some 3”

    I’d start by hauling fuel.

Yeah that’s an almost guaranteed way to get hired by us. That’s how I got hired was to have fuel experience beforehand. They like fuel haulers because you learn a routine while loading and unloading. We are creatures of habit. I do things the same way everytime
