It's called the gig economy and has been going on for 5+ years now.
Basically Uber started it, then Lyft, then all sorts sprang up like Grubhub and the 100 other delivery services. Basically it's preying on people bad at math...Opendeckin, Eldiablo, Upinsmoke and 8 others Thank this. -

No useful information at all.
