Just got my cdl a. Anyone have any employer recommendations for okc, tulsa, or dfw areas that pay 1099 and dont care about felonies?

i 2nd that. you laid it down already. no more skipping a space in the bathroom. apply and be honest on what they only ask for. if they say no. then thank them and move on.

He may have a good reason to want a 1099 job. I have no clue to tell him where to look, but think there will be plenty of options for him.

I hear you, unless an outfit is running Canada, or some high clearance locations, a lot of them will not give it a second thought.
I was at the TA in Boise once and my waitress was a big burly tatood fit and trim guy. I ask him what made a big healthy looking dude like him want to be a waitress for, and he told me he just got out of prison, and it was the only job he could find. lolaustinmike, Intothesunset and Okcnoob Thank this. -

1099 has been my primary form of employment. I do my own paperwork, carry my own medical, and manage my own retirement investments. I understand this is a different line of work and might not qualify as 1099 depending on type of driving arrangement. I'm willing to accept change.
