Curious, why are you set on the 1099 pay.
I don't guess it matters, but probably easy enough to find someone.

You can find a good job with a felony man, I don’t even think my last two jobs asked if I was a felon on the app or checked anything but my driving record and they weren’t bad jobs. Don’t limit yourself, you did your time don’t settle.

i 2nd that. you laid it down already. no more skipping a space in the bathroom. apply and be honest on what they only ask for. if they say no. then thank them and move on.

He may have a good reason to want a 1099 job. I have no clue to tell him where to look, but think there will be plenty of options for him.

That’s fine if he wants one for whatever reason.

But I’m just telling him in case he thinks he’s limited to those jobs because he’s not.

I hear you, unless an outfit is running Canada, or some high clearance locations, a lot of them will not give it a second thought.
I was at the TA in Boise once and my waitress was a big burly tatood fit and trim guy. I ask him what made a big healthy looking dude like him want to be a waitress for, and he told me he just got out of prison, and it was the only job he could find. lol

1099 has been my primary form of employment. I do my own paperwork, carry my own medical, and manage my own retirement investments. I understand this is a different line of work and might not qualify as 1099 depending on type of driving arrangement. I'm willing to accept change.
