Ask your car salesman/recruiter if your doing backhauls?
I made over $800.00 only one time in almost 2 years.
You sit,and sit waiting to be loaded, and never get compensated.
Live loads will break you here, and appointment times never seemed
to be what was in my qualcom for some reason:confused:
You will be told what you wanna hear,so take 1/3 of what your
    promised as truth.

Can you make 1100 a week here, well sure. But no way is it going to average that. I would believe an average of 700 to 800 for a first year driver. Honestly that might be high.

    Gunnerduece Thanks this.

Schneider does have "OTR dedicated positions" on their website that list a salary comparable to what you mentioned. I'm sure that there is some fine print, but if that is the position that the recruiter was talking about then it looks like there might be some truth to it.

From what I understand these are basically drivers that fill in on Schneider dedicated accounts throughout the country.

Description of the position from the Schneider website:

Join our Dedicated Support Fleet in this unique and exciting full time position which serves a variety of our Dedicated customers. Our Dedicated Fleet drivers support new business start ups, provide surge support and vacation coverage for our Dedicated division. Drivers are home every 2-3 weeks, earning weekly salary pay that increases each week away from home, to a maximum weekly salary of $1,450. If you enjoy making a great first impression, or simply like a variety of work options, this is the opportunity for you!

Looks like you would need some experience to qualify for this position though.

It is Chicago traffic and 10-14 hour days. But I am home all but one or two nights a month. The three yards we go to are not that hard to get into or out of. But there are many others.
