Schneider was offering me .37 cents a mile to do a Regional Intermodal out of Chicago Sunday-Thursday, and home Friday and Saturday. I did the math based on 2200 miles a week and they pay would be about 800 gross a week.

Okay first off, compared to all the other joker starter companies I've applied for, Schneider of all places has offered the least at .29$ . This would be for OTR as a first year driver with no experience.....I asked about how many miles a week,my recruiter seemed pretty honest with an answer of anywhere from 2200-2800.

    I just dont see 1100$ a week....

As for joe blow trucker playing pinball...of course hes gonna tell you he makes great money, he wants you to use his bad name when you sign up so he gets his little bonus....

A good friend of mine was bringing home a little over $1,000 after taxes running regional tankers with SNI. Granted he was still on paper logs and not e-logs and he didn't mind running. Leave sunday night/monday morning and he would usually be home by 2 or 3pm friday. He tried to get me to move to SNI and I almost did but I just couldn't do 60mph in a pumpkin.

That had to be a while ago. Hasn't Schneider been E-Log for about 5 years now?

They still had a few trucks that had the elogs "disabled" due to"difficulties". He quit back around March and he had been there a year.
