12 mpg loaded......I’m not believing it

I didn't know KR and PP were still building those gliders

 

Got this going south bound i15 Utah an hour below Salt Lake City all the way to Cali state line. Rode the hills like mad and gave no throttle on the uphills. So going down up to 75mphish and at the top of the hill truck would go as low as 53mph and I was dog heavy 44k cargo. Started losing it when I hit cali tho darn 55 mph limits.

Daisy chained 4 turbo 3000’s together, plus whatever is KR’s device of the month.

 

33k is a good start. Maybe come back with a real mpg on paper with a real load then we'll see. Sure my old 87 freghtshaker can run numbers like that to with light loads

 

They will if you try. Just keep an easy consistent speed, don't go too fast you need to slow down and speed up alot, just slow enough to keep an even keel. Heavy loads can keep momentum better, my best mileage was with heavy loads. I would tell you but you wouldn't believe it...

Only time I got that number. Was bobtail across country.

It dropped considerably on the way back with an empty tank trailer.

 

Best I ever got that I checked, and I am pretty sure it was the best ever, was 11.5 through Canada and Alaska, bobtailing with slow speed limits.
That was a 12.7 detroit, and across I 10 bobtailing at 70 I could get 10 generally.
My computer readout I have seen as high as 43 mpg coasting off a mountain. lol

 

Sometimes my display shows 100-200 MPG under certain circumstances. ZVar is right. Check the math, not the pic or the computer.
